Frequently Asked Questions
1) Do you require credit?
I prefer it, yes. I am not going to beat you witless if you do not. The best way to credit is in the image keywords. If you look in the LJ FAQ, I am sure there is something that tells you how to do exactly that.
2) Who should I credit you as?
bethyss18 or madeby_bethy.
3) What programs do you use?
I use PS (Photoshop) 7.
4) Can I edit your icons?
I ask that you do not. If I post bases, I will specifically identify them as such and will make it known that you can alter them. Otherwise, graphics are not to be manipulated.
5) Do you answer individual questions about graphics?
I do because I like to help when and where I can. That said, I am by no means an expert so do not be surprised if I can not provide you with any answer. If you ask me about a specific element of an icon (especially coloring), chances are that I do not remember how I did it. If I do, I will share.
6) Where did you get that brush/texture/font/image/etc.?
Check out my resources entry. For the most part, I have listed the exact entry where I found the resource in question.
7) Can I use your icons on my greatestjournal? Or my fansite?
Yes. You can use them on Fan Forum as well. Just make sure to ask me before taking them and I will most definately ask you to credit.
The exception to this is use of my graphics on Xanga. I do not allow it because, more than likely, my graphics are lumped together with a collection of graphics from different users here on LJ and elsewhere are posted as the work of someone else. Claiming my work, or that of anyone else, as your own is plain uncool.
